We created a dedicated power app for the Account department to streamline the processing and monitoring of expense requests, which ensure its efficient management.
Next, we developed a user-friendly canvas app by which employees can easily raise their reimbursement request without relying on paper-based forms.
We designed another canvas app that helps a project manager review and approve reimbursement requests, brings accountability and ensures timely approvals.
We then implemented an automated notification system that notifies the Account department the instance a reimbursement request is approved, so it can be immediately finally approved or rejected.
All this was bonded into one solution through Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate, and Microsoft Dataverse to make it very robust and reliable in expense management.
